Congratulations to the Bantam Warriors who defeated Barrhead this past weekend to win the Zone 3 Provincial Playdown and will represent our zone at the provincial championship tournament in Drumheller.

Coach Miluch says it was a great team effort.

The season is winding down for some teams, and for other teams – some important games ahead!  Here is some information that may be of interest to you:

1.         Season wrap-up details

Coaches Evaluations – team managers will hand one out to each parent. Completed forms can be mailed in or handed to team manager or division director. 

Awards – submit nominations for the following awards to your manager or director:

Sportsman of the Year               Trainer of the Year

Coach of the Year               Hockey Mom

2.         Peewee A Provincials – March 25-28, 2010

Any volunteer help is appreciated (50/50 sales, admission gates, scorekeeping, timekeeping, penalty boxes, music, etc.)  Let me know if you are interested! 

3.         Annual General Meeting

The Legion is booked for May 5, 2010 at 7:00 pm for the AGM.

 Interested people can either download a copy of the registration form provided by the attached link or pick up registrations at the Community Services Department, Edson & District Leisure Centre or Switzer’s Drug Store. Registrations can also be dropped off at either Switzer’s Drug Store or Community Services Department.

Hello, everyone.

Just to let you know that the 2010 Black Elk Hockey Camp dates for Edson are
August 27-29.  It will be a similar program to last year: 2 hour goalie clinic
Friday afternoon followed by a 90-min on-ice session for each of the 3 age
groups, and 2 90-min sessions for each of the three age groups on Saturday
and Sunday. Price remains $180 and is open to players from Atom-Midget.

Registration this year will be handled directly by the Black Elk Hockey
Camp through their website. Online registration opens January 1, 2010 at
